The Aer Arann Islands Half Marathon is back for its 24th year this mid-April, set against the breathtaking coastal scenery of Inis Mór. More than a race, it’s a full island experience — challenging terrain, traditional ceol, and the warmth of Aran Islands hospitality, all in aid of the Mater Hospital Foundation.
Since its inception, the event has raised nearly €220,000 for the Mater Public Hospital, directly supporting the over 420,000 patients treated there each year. Funds raised go towards vital patient care and the purchase of essential new medical equipment.
